Timber in the City Studio focuses on developing a mid-rise, mixed-use complex in a prominent waterfront site in Queens, New York– using mass timber as the primary material. The site, program, and deliverables will follow the brief from the 2018- 2019 TIMBER IN THE CITY: Urban Habitat Competition International Student Design Competition

COURSE SYNOPSIS
- ARC 307 culminates in the five-semester, core curriculum design sequence. A primary goal of this studio is to build upon the pedagogic direction of the first two years with a specific focus on advancing the design development of architectural ideas. An important objective is to build upon the skills, techniques, and design methodologies of earlier studio experiences.
